This handmade Art Nouveau shelf etagere is a perfect addition to any home. With its beautiful design and modern touch, it serves as a great display cabinet for your small china collection. The forms of the cabinet are reminiscent of the work of the great master of applied art Louis Majorelle.

The back wall of this piece of handmade furniture is decorated with Art Nouveau ornamentation. It is not painted wood, the pattern is made by inlaying, in the marquetry technique with veneer of valuable wood species – ebony and light ash. Black and white pearlescent veneers are used. The inlay on the facade also contains pearlescent white as well as other colors and wood species.

The pattern looks great in any light, but best of all with the backlighting on the back of the façade. This modern china cabinet should therefore not be used as an etagere bookcase.

The frame of the façade is decorated with filigree wood carvings. The center of the upper part of the façade is decorated with a Star.

The facade itself is also decorated with inlaid marquetry. The different elements of the pattern in black are made with the same ebony veneer, used at different angles to give volume and visual distinction between neighboring elements. The woman’s mask and her hairstyle are perceived as alive, as separate elements.

The back side of the façade is equipped with LED lighting, which is switched on by a secret switch.

Delivery is carried out in disassembled form. The design is specially created to be able to cope with any woman with a screwdriver in her hands.
