Description

From a Russian émigré’s trunk – wall posters that don’t look like everyone else’s. The collection is presented here.

This isn’t another AI-upscaled print. What you get is a straight scan of an actual antique sheet music cover from 1900–1920. No smoothing, no retouching. The creases, library stamps, handwritten notes, and even the odd coffee stain — all of it stays.

Format
Digital download. One title page per listing.
Resolution: ~18 megapixels — enough for a clean A3 print.
Original document size is closer to A4.

Why these exist
We work with Belle Époque, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco leftovers — furniture, trim, lighting, textiles. A while ago, a client gave us access to an old trunk that belonged to a Russian émigré. The family didn’t know what they had. They wanted cash. We wanted the contents. Fair trade.

Inside the trunk: sheet music from the 1900s–1920s. The musical side is interesting, but the covers themselves are the real find.

What’s wrong with most wall posters
Same bland, safe designs. You see the same poster at a friend’s place, a colleague’s, a neighbor’s. These are different because they weren’t made as decor. They were made as printed music — and it shows.
