This Armoire is modeled after a piece made for the World’s Fair in Paris in the early 20th century.

This unique piece is a cupboard or small china cabinet from Eugene Gaillard, Louis-Désir-Eugène sideboard for Samuel Bing. Until August 26, 2022, this piece existed only in the dreams of connoisseurs of Belle Époque, Art Nouveau (some call it “Art Nouveau”). Based on the only known photograph, we have reproduced our own version. With almost the same dimensions (our example has a 30mm greater depth of the cabinet), a beautiful piece of Art Nouveau furniture has been recreated.

This Armoire in Art Nouveau style seamlessly combines elements of small china cabinet and cupboard. There are 9 shelves in total, including 7 wood shelves (included) and two glass shelves (simple rectangular shelves, not included due to the risk of damage during delivery).
It is made to order only, with a lead time of approximately 6-8 weeks. This gives the customer the opportunity to choose the type of wood and color. the photos show the first copy and it has already been sold. The new copy will be slightly different (for the better) in design.

The material is solid wood. Even the back wall. Thanks to the use of only natural wood, the sideboard is quite light. Furniture hinges are used from Austria “Blum”.

When recreating, the possibilities and limitations of delivery were taken into account – in disassembled form, the sideboard is a few well-packed boxes. The assembly requires only a screwdriver, nothing complicated, even a woman can cope.
